Love

Romans 13:8-10 says" Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever love others have fulfilled the law.  The commandments you shall not commit adultery, you shall not murder, you shall not steal, you shall not covet, or whatever other command: "Love thy neighbor as yourself"  Love does no harm to a neighbor.  Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law."

God has called all of us to love one another.  It is a law that every human is obligated to fulfill.  Not only should we love one another, but we should have respect for our fellow man.  The world is made up of all kinds of people, and we are all different in many ways.  Over the years I have learned that we all have different points of view.  Different views on religion, beliefs, and life in general.  No matter how many differences we have God still expects us to fulfill the law of loving each other.

Even in the mist of the world's problems it is still possible to spread love.  I know that we live in a worldly system where hate and opposition is strong, but I know that God's law will never fail.  1st John 4:7 says "Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God, and whoever loves has been born of God and knows God."

God's love for us is relevant.  He gave His one and only Son to die for our sins.  In the scripture John 3:16 it says that whosoever believe in him shall not perish but have eternal life.  I believe that we can stand to have a lot more love in this world.  Love is a small word but the message is universal.

I will always teach my children to love and respect everyone.  It is a lesson that I teach constantly.  It only takes a minute to share a kind word, and encourage someone who may need it.  God is love, and it is written in His word that we are to love one another.

Until next time may the Lord bless you with peace and prosperity.
