Virtuosity Inspired

 Yesterday I had started a series that has been talking about the barrenness of the womb.  In fact I shared a story about Sarah, and how she had dealt with infertility, and being a barren woman. Just to recap on what has been written.  To be barren means to be infertile. unfruitful, or desolate.  In this case we are talking about barrenness, or unable to have children.  The story of Sarah has really touched my heart, as I was one that was once barren, but God has sense opened my womb, and blessed me with four children. Today I would like to continue our topic, and touch on the story of Hannah. While studying the Word this morning I had another disturbed feeling that hit my spirit.  I am most comfortable when my mind is clear, and I can focus on what I am reading. but there was an urgency in the need for me to pray. and seek God's face.  Usually when these feelings arise I am in a place where I am in the presence of God.  Lately I have been there more than usual.  I have found myself going into the presence of God several times in a day. It is no mystery that something is happening in this world, and my mind and spirit has been hungry for the wisdom and knowledge of God.  I have been making sure to guard the ear and eye gates of my children.  They are aware of what is going on, but I do not want them to be overwhelmed by what the world has become.  As I write this I am almost unwilling to turn on the T.V., but I do so for the sake of obtaining some information.  Instead of looking at the news I put it on cartoons to keep the kids engag...

Hope is believing in the things that have not yet manifested.  It is trusting God for those things that you have need.  It is having faith, and telling that mountain to move.  Hope is believing God for the unseen things, yet you know that the blessing  is coming.  You can see the vision, and you have written it down.  You have spoken the words, and the words are in your mouth, heart, and your spirit. You have declared it in Jesus's name that all things are possible through the Lord Jesus Christ.  You have prepared yourself for the blessing.  Well my friends the scripture says "If you believe, you will receive whatever you ask for in prayer."  By the supernatural power of God blessings are coming your way.  Keep your mind steadfast and stay focused on Jesus!  Trust, declare, confess, speak, and believe in what you have need of, or what you want God to do for you. This morning I sing, because I have many blessings.  Sometimes we tend to overlook the small things that God has done.  We can sometimes take for granted the very things that other people may be lacking.  My many blessings include my everyday needs. I may not have a mansion, but I have a roof over my head.  I may not drive a Bentley, but I have a vehicle to get around in.  I may not wear designer labels, but I have clothes on my back.  I may not eat at five star  restaurants   but there is food on the table.  I may not be what society says is beautiful, but I am made in the image of my Father.  I may not be where I need to be, but I thank God I am not where I used to be. I have health, strength, my beautiful babies, and family.  I have my life, opportunities, dreams,and most important above all I have my heavenly Father.  Abba Father God I love you and thank you for my many blessings.

Okay, I have started this new book series that I think will be a real blessing to many people, and I have all the ideas in place.  I have written the first draft, and have decided to write at least five pages a day until it is complete.  With the school year almost in completion I am thinking about what the summer is going to bring.  During this time we are looking at camp, sports, and maybe a vacation. The children are trying to adjust to all the new changes that we had to deal with over the last month.  With the death of my mother we are trying to get back on track.  I for one am trying to get back to work, and get everything organized.  I had to take some time off from writing to make sure that the children, and I were okay with all that was going on.  There is nothing in this life that can prepare you for when a loved one departs this life, but for the most part God has been good to us. Today my daughter had a loose tooth, and it was very painful for her to eat anything harder than pudding.  I had offered to pull the tooth, but she was too afraid to let me touch it.  She had an extreme fear that it was going to hurt too much.  After a few attempts to eat breakfast Keara became very frustrated.  A few hours had passed, and she was tired of struggling to eat. I said "Okay, can I look at your tooth now?  I will not hurt you."  In a moment's notice she kept her eyes on me, and I gently extracted  her loose tooth.    Sometimes we have to be like little children, and learn to let go and let God.  We must learn to trust God in every situation.  Even in a worst case scenarios we can trust God.  There are times that we may be very vulnerable to life, but God's love and grace keeps us in perfect peace. A star shining in the night symbolizing the birth of the Messiah. We honor our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for he is the reason for the season. Jesus Christ has given his life for us to be free. 2 Corinthians 8:9 says "For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich; yet for your sake he became poor so that you through his poverty might become rich." As I sit in the still quiet of my study I am in awe of all that God has created.  I had turned to the window in my room, and stared at the beauty of the leaves on the trees.  It is simply amazing how the seasons have began to change.  It only seemed like yesterday that we were sitting in the backyard drinking ice tea.  My children, and I had just begun our homeschooling journey.  We had just started plans for the fall holidays, and made preparations for our back to school bash.  Then suddenly I was stuck with the thought about how fast time is going. Here we are at the beginning of the third week in November, and the smell of Thanksgiving is right around the corner.  Soon we will be at the table full of turkey, and talking about hanging Christmas reefs on the door.  I often tell my children how important it is to cherish each day, and to never waste a moment, or take time for granted.  Each day that has passed has brought me closer to a goa...

I have always believed that you should put your best foot forward.  Sometimes we have to step out on faith, and see where the Holy Spirit will lead us.  A will full of determination can go a long way.  I have learned that you can achieve your dreams if you let go of all the negativity.  It is easy for the enemy to come in, and try to defeat you.  It is his job to try, and destroy all of your dreams, desires, and goals.  The enemy will use all types of tactics to destroy you, but God is in control. Greetings everyone I hope that God is blessing you with peace and prosperity.  you know I really love this time of year.  I love watching the seasons change.  The trees are displaying all kinds of colors.  This is the time of year where the kids, and I get a chance to decorate the yard with pumpkins, fall flowers, and other decor.  WE sit in the yard enjoying the cool breeze, and taking long walks in the park.  As we look at the month of October there is a newness of the month that is fast approaching. That means that a change of the seasons is near.  This is the first day of autumn, and the beginning of a new season.  i am writing this as my children are engaged in their work.  Our classroom is really quiet, and it is very easy to focus on my writing.  Through homeschooling we are learning more about each other.  I have four children, and they all have different learning styles,and it makes teaching them very interesting.  I...

I know that life can be hard sometimes, and it seems that no one understands the struggle.  There may be days that you want to question why things are going wrong.  You may be filled with doubt, and do not feel like smiling but let me offer you some encouragement.  There are a million reasons why you should be hopeful.  Most important above all God loves you with an unconditional love.  HE cares for you.  If you are reading this then that means that you are very much alive and well.  That is another reason that you should be happy.  God has blessed  you to be alive and among the living.  You may not feel it, but you are worth all of the love that God has placed on the inside of you.  It does not matter what you look like, or what your status may be WE are ALL children of GOD.  Be of good cheer today and no that God loves you.  Here is a scripture for you today.  "These things I have spoken unto you that in me ye might...

In the past few weeks I have been talking about my business, and what I want to offer women from all walks of life.  I have placed so much trust in God to help me make things happen, and I am confident that God will supply all the resources and provisions for this business to come to pass.  With every post I like to add a scripture that is very beneficial to what I am creating.  In the book of Habakkuk 2:2 it says "Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that the herald may run with it. Hello everybody I hope that you are doing well on this beautiful day in May.  God is just blessing me to do some great things in life.  You know when I first started with the concept of a business idea, I was not sure what I really wanted to do.  In my early years as a homemaker I had plenty of time to sit, and think of the type of business that I had wanted to invest my time in. When my children were really small I had always known that I wanted to be home with them, and still have an income to take care of the household.  For the last five years I have been eager to get started with my business plans, and have discovered that God has given me several visions when it comes to entrepreneurship.  It has taken plenty of patience for me to get to this point.  Let me give a scripture to those that might be struggling with patience.  "And let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we shall reap if we do not grow weary" (Galatians 6:9) The race...

When I look at the world that we live in I have to ask myself some questions.  As a mother should I be strict on my children, or give them a little freedom?  As a Christian parent should I allow the kids to watch all cartoons?  Do certain celebrities have an impact on my children's lives?  These are just a few of the questions that I ask myself each day.  As a mom what should I do? With so much new technology children have a chance to access anything from any location.  I think that media plays an important role in what children are viewing and hearing.  With the click of a button they can see anything on the Internet.  One touch of the remote, and kids are looking at all kinds of music videos.  Is all this media really healthy for developing minds? Lord I would like to offer a prayer for our dear children.  Lord I am so glad that you are watching over me, and my family.  God there are so many people out there in this world that are lost, hungry, and in need.  Families have been torn apart, and lives have been lost from trouble. Right now God I pray for the millions of children, and teenagers that are struggling with depression, and suicide.  God the children that have lost their parents due to a tragedy.  I pray for the child that is living with the pain of a separation, or a young girl that is facing drugs. I can not be silent knowing that children are suffering.  God they need you as much as we do if not more.  I lift up my hands God.  Asking that you revive this generation that is coming forward.  By your mercy and grace God you will stop the attack of the enemy on our children. Happy Valentine's Day everyone! It is hard to believe that we are almost in the middle of the month.  It seems like time is moving at a very fast pace.  It was not too long ago the kids, and I were jumping in a pile of leaves.  Now when you look outside we have almost six inches of snow. Sometimes in life we have to make changes.  It is not always easy to change, but it is relevant.  In my case I have made many changes, and adjustments in my life.  I have learned that change had to come in order for me to be effective as a mother, writer, artist, but most important above all at doing the will of God. This year I want to live on purpose.  I want to be the best at what I was annointed, and designed to do.  My most important change came when I realized what God wanted me to do. The year 2014 is going to be a really great year.  I am looking forward to all the great things that is going to happen in my life.  Many of you have heard me mention positive affirmations, determination, and motivation.  Well there is a word that is important, but it is a dream killer.  PROCRASTINATION will bury your dreams alive, and stop the process of progress.  This is just a thought.  We know that tomorrow may not be promised to us.  Why should you wait to make your dreams come true?  If you continue to wait for your dreams to come true, do you think that life will pass you by? If you allow the opinions of other people to mold your character, are you believing in yourself? If you are sitting around depressed, and worrying about life, are you trusting God?
