    What happens when Love Goes Wrong We have all seen the results of love when it goes wrong.  In this hour we all stand as witnesses when the love of God is missing in our world.  In the mist of leadership you can seen, and bear witness to the lack of a God kind of love.  Division in the people, in which the Bible states there shall be no division among us, yet the world is a witness of how a lack of love has been generated.  Our division can be seen in Black and White, or a separation of. Plot.  It can seen politically, or in a separation of political beliefs.  You can even see the division in socioeconomic status.  The rich does not mingle with the poor. It was Jesus who became poor for our sake, so that we may be rich.  It says the Sin of man, and the Son of God had no place to lay his head, yet he sacrificed himself so that We may be made whole and free, yet our people from every corner is self loathing in hate, division, and mocke...

While studying the Word this morning I had another disturbed feeling that hit my spirit.  I am most comfortable when my mind is clear, and I can focus on what I am reading. but there was an urgency in the need for me to pray. and seek God's face.  Usually when these feelings arise I am in a place where I am in the presence of God.  Lately I have been there more than usual.  I have found myself going into the presence of God several times in a day. It is no mystery that something is happening in this world, and my mind and spirit has been hungry for the wisdom and knowledge of God.  I have been making sure to guard the ear and eye gates of my children.  They are aware of what is going on, but I do not want them to be overwhelmed by what the world has become.  As I write this I am almost unwilling to turn on the T.V., but I do so for the sake of obtaining some information.  Instead of looking at the news I put it on cartoons to keep the kids engag...

This morning I sing, because I have many blessings.  Sometimes we tend to overlook the small things that God has done.  We can sometimes take for granted the very things that other people may be lacking.  My many blessings include my everyday needs. I may not have a mansion, but I have a roof over my head.  I may not drive a Bentley, but I have a vehicle to get around in.  I may not wear designer labels, but I have clothes on my back.  I may not eat at five star  restaurants   but there is food on the table.  I may not be what society says is beautiful, but I am made in the image of my Father.  I may not be where I need to be, but I thank God I am not where I used to be. I have health, strength, my beautiful babies, and family.  I have my life, opportunities, dreams,and most important above all I have my heavenly Father.  Abba Father God I love you and thank you for my many blessings.

Welcome to the summer!!  It has been a long time since I have posted to my blog.  The children and I have completed our first year of home school, and we are enjoying the summer. Today I want to briefly talk about new life, and what it means to start over.  I am so excited about what God is doing in my life.  I have recently graduated college, and have plans to have another child.  Yes you have read it I am on the journey to motherhood again, and have decided to document everything through my blog. Before I expand my family there are a few things that I have to do.  I have to lose weight, change my eating habits, and make some lifestyle changes that will ensure a healthy pregnancy and baby.  So for the next six months I will be on a very happy and healthy journey. Today my daughter had a loose tooth, and it was very painful for her to eat anything harder than pudding.  I had offered to pull the tooth, but she was too afraid to let me touch it.  She had an extreme fear that it was going to hurt too much.  After a few attempts to eat breakfast Keara became very frustrated.  A few hours had passed, and she was tired of struggling to eat. I said "Okay, can I look at your tooth now?  I will not hurt you."  In a moment's notice she kept her eyes on me, and I gently extracted  her loose tooth.    Sometimes we have to be like little children, and learn to let go and let God.  We must learn to trust God in every situation.  Even in a worst case scenarios we can trust God.  There are times that we may be very vulnerable to life, but God's love and grace keeps us in perfect peace. Sometimes you really don't need a reason to speak to a friend.  No matter how busy one may be it only takes a minute of time to give a few kind words or wish someone a good night.  You may not get a thank you in return or you may not receive a metal for being kind, but the reward comes from knowing that you added something positive to that person's day. I have always believed that you should put your best foot forward.  Sometimes we have to step out on faith, and see where the Holy Spirit will lead us.  A will full of determination can go a long way.  I have learned that you can achieve your dreams if you let go of all the negativity.  It is easy for the enemy to come in, and try to defeat you.  It is his job to try, and destroy all of your dreams, desires, and goals.  The enemy will use all types of tactics to destroy you, but God is in control. Well here we are at the week's ending, and another Friday that so  many of us rejoice over.  We look  forward to the day that we can kick up our feet and relax.  For me the weekend is an opportunity for me to reflect on what has happened during the week, and catch up on my writing. You know with the news of Ebola I can see that there are many people that are starting to panic, and that is a very bad situation.  The media has a way of making things seem more out of control than it may be.  Do not get me wrong.  It is good to stay informed, but it is not good to just focus on the bad things.  I was reading an article that said the Ebola virus is expected to infect 1.4 million people.  When you think about it too long, that can cause quite a stir in some people.  When I was younger this type of news would terrify me, and I would almost pass out from panic and worry.  It was an awful site to my mom. It is a very early morning, and I am doing my normal routine of reading, and preparing for my day.  I look throughout the house, and notice that my children are sleeping soundly in their beds.  After reading all of today's headlines  I am amazed at how many stories can inspire, but even more amazed at the stories that can make you think. In the past I have read many stories that have made me respond, but in twenty years of writing I am very touched by the stories that affect children.  Lately I have been reading many heart breaking stories about children committing suicide, being bullied, and yes being abused.  All of these stories have touched my spirit, and have stirred my emotions on a very high level. I know that the world we live in has very little compassion, and most people have become very cruel.  It is not my place to judge, but it seems that our children are suffering in this world.  I am mother, advocate of children, and I am very upset ...

Sometimes it is good to sit in the presence of the Lord.  I have longed to hear his voice on a daily basis.  I was quietly sitting in the meadow.  The grass lush and green.  It was a very sunny day.  The sky had a very vivid blue shade.  That day I could feel the presence of the Lord.  At that moment I knew that he was with me. Earlier that morning I had something on my mind, and it troubling my spirit.   Immediately I had to seek his face.  Isaiah 55:6 says  "Seek the Lord while he may be found;call on him while he is near.".(NIV). I laid my head on a nearby rock, and felt the cool breeze on my skin.  I was almost certain that I heard a voice  whisper in my ear. Sometimes life require us to be silent.  It is a blessing and a privilege to be in the presence of the Lord. The Word if God is food for the spirit.

                                         Hello everyone I hope that you are enjoying the month of May.  Time is definitely moving, and it is not standing still.  I have been so busy with the children, and school until I have not had time to post like I want to.  I have just finished my final exams, and I passed with flying colors.  Being involved with the children has kept me busy.  I have some new ideas, and plan to take the blog to the next level.  I am looking to expand, and do a weekly audio blog.  God is giving me some awesome ideas, and I plan to carry through with what he has given to me.  I love to write!!  It is my first love, and I have been doing this for over twenty years. When I look at the world that we live in I have to ask myself some questions.  As a mother should I be strict on my children, or give them a little freedom?  As a Christian parent should I allow the kids to watch all cartoons?  Do certain celebrities have an impact on my children's lives?  These are just a few of the questions that I ask myself each day.  As a mom what should I do? With so much new technology children have a chance to access anything from any location.  I think that media plays an important role in what children are viewing and hearing.  With the click of a button they can see anything on the Internet.  One touch of the remote, and kids are looking at all kinds of music videos.  Is all this media really healthy for developing minds? There is a scripture in the Bible that says "I look to the hills where my help comes from my help comes from the Lord."  In my eyes that scripture has so much meaning, and it is vey close to my heart.  I can not tell you how many times that I have contemplated on this scripture, and it has spokn to my heart.  In this life I have had some storms that have spiraled out of control, yet I could always count on God to be a refuge in the time of those storms.  I have learned that God is the same yesterday, today, and forever.  He will not change no matter what the season is. I have also developed a mindset that exudes nothing but positive thoughts.  I have decided to make positive affirmations everyday that God blesses me with.  I have made up my mind that I will not live with a defeated mentality.  I believe that as a child of God, and  a believer I can be victorious in every situation.  1 Corinthians 15:57 says "But thanks be to God, ...

       With each passing day all of my hope is renewed.  I have great expectations about each new day that God has given to me.  The past is behind me , and is nothing more than a memory.  My mind is set on my goals, and focused on the future before me.  I have always known that God had plans for my life.  Jeremiah 29:11 says "For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."  Hallelujah, God wants me to prosper, and he will order my footsteps in His Word!!!  Psalms 119:133 says "Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me."  God has plans for each of us, and he wants all of us to prosper in life.   This year I am on fire with the word, and I am on fire for Jesus.  I am asking the Lord to let me walk in more love.  I want him to create in me a clean heart.  In Ezekiel 36:26 God...

You know this time of year can be tough for singles.  I have seen many people get depressed just because they want to be in a loving relationship.  When you think about it, the holiday season is full of expressions of love, family, and all types of joy.  There are many reasons why people are single, it could be the death of a loved one, or separation and divorce.  Many of us singles have found it to be extremely hard to happy this time of year.  When you are hurting there are some people that will not relate to what  you are feeling.  There may be a myriad of things that may distract you from seeking God. The kids are home from school and they are extra active, you have bills that need to be paid, and you don't have the money.  You want to buy Christmas presents, but you have to buy food for the house.  I have been there.  In the past I had so many reasons why I was depressed.  I would throw myself a pity party, because I was divo...

Praise the Lord everybody!!  We know the holiday season has been very busy, and there never seems to be enough time in the day to get things done.  There is cooking, shopping, work, kids, school, and everything else that is on your list.  You have so much to get done before Christmas, and you have started to feel stress and pressure.  This time of year many people have become stressed, because it is the holidays.  Some have felt the pains of depression, and the are suffering from the blues.  I want to let you know that you do not have to feel stress and depression.  This can be a stressful time for some people, but it can also be a time of joy and happiness.  The Holy Spirit can provide you with the peace and joy you need.  This week on my blogs  I will discuss how I keep my stress levels low, and how prayer helps me keep my focus. This week I will be talking about acceptance.  I have noticed that many young women want to serve God, and live by the standards of the world.  The fact is, God is calling us to live by a higher standard of life.  Society has glamorized certain lifestyles, and many young people feel like they should be included in it.  Most of them feel that being popular is better than having morals and values.
