Looking Forward To the New Year In God's Presence

With each passing day all of my hope is renewed.  I have great expectations about each new day that God has given to me.  The past is behind me , and is nothing more than a memory.  My mind is set on my goals, and focused on the future before me.  I have always known that God had plans for my life.  Jeremiah 29:11 says "For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."  Hallelujah, God wants me to prosper, and he will order my footsteps in His Word!!!  Psalms 119:133 says "Direct my footsteps according to your word; let no sin rule over me."  God has plans for each of us, and he wants all of us to prosper in life.

This year I am on fire with the word, and I am on fire for Jesus.  I am asking the Lord to let me walk in more love.  I want him to create in me a clean heart.  In Ezekiel 36:26 God said "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you."  I thank the Lord that he can transform me from the inside out.  God has the power to remind me that the past is gone, and all things are now new.  2 Corinthians 5:17 says Therefore if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come.  the old is gone and the new is here."  There is newness in this season.  That is something to be glad about.

We can not forget everything in the past, but this is our chance to start over, and wipe the slate clean.  With the new year in full swing some of us have trouble letting go of the past.  I am a witness that some things are not easily forgotten, but I thank God that what has happen is over.  Those events in life have made me stronger, and appreciate what is in my future.  We have to forget what is behind us in order to move forward.  Philippians 3:13 says "Brothers and sisters I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it.  But one thing I do; Forgetting what is behind and straining for what is ahead."

Each day is new, and a beginning to bring about change in  your I have to make constant changes in order to reach my goals.  Lamentations 3:22-24 says " Because of the Lord's great love we are not consumed. for his compassions never fail."  God is always in the throne.  Thank God that I can start over and begin again.  This is a new season and another opportunity for me to prosper.

I am expecting great things this year.  Each day I am one step closer to my goals.  Until next time may the Lord bless you with peace and prosperity.
