Searching A Poem

I am the girl in the corner
Who is not afraid to glow
Everyone in the room
Look back at me and say Whoa!
I am that girl who knows what she has to give
This is the life that designed for me to live
I am not afraid to be up front
Up close
I am made in the image of GOD
I am the one that says
Life has been hard
Yet I am the one
That has been through every storm
Yet I didn't give up
I didn't stop going
And I did not quit
I have kept my hope and my faith alive
I went deep down on the inside
Intrinsically searching
For the the thing that I have not found in people
I was searching….
And searching
Only to be disappointed
People have never had the solution
For what I was searching for
They never truly had the answer
My solution was on the inside
Deep Deep down
In my secret place

           In the world that we live in it is hard not to worry.  Every time you turn on the television, or pick up the newspaper something is always happening.  Some of us get a little anxious around bill time.  You may worry that the money will run out before all the bills are paid. The holiday season is in full swing, and the pressure to buy gifts is causing people to worry.  It is a true saying that giving is a blessing, but what if you do not have anything to give during the holiday season?  What about the families that can't afford to spend hundreds, or even thousands of dollars on gifts.  We all have moments in our lives where we have worried about something.  There have been moments in my life where I wondered how I was going to feed my children.  Looking back at those times I realize that God always made a way for me.  Even when I didn't know how to trust him.
