Scriptures for the Week Psalm 18:1-14

Bible & rhinestone cross vertical angle
I love you Lord, my strength
The Lord is my rock,my fortress, and my deliverer
my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge
My shield and the horn of my salvation
my stronghold
I called to the Lord who is worthy of praise
and I have been saved from my enemies
The cords of death entangled me
The torments of destruction overwhemled me
The cords of of the grave coiled around me
The snares of death confronted me
In my distress I called to the Lord
I cried to my God for help
From His temple he heard my voice
my cry came before him in his ears
The earth trembled and quaked
and the foundations of the mountains shook
They trembled because he was angry
Smoke rose from his nostrils
consuming fire came from his mouth
burning coals blazed out of it
He parted the heavens and came down
dark clouds under his feet
He mounted the Cheribum and flew e soared on the wings of the wind
He made the darkness his covering
His canopy around him
the dark rain clouds in the sky
Out of the brightness of his presence clouds advanced
with hailstones and bolts of lightning
The Lord thundered from heaven
The voice of the Most High resound

Dear LORD As I embark on this new journey in my life I am asking that you help me to decide The best road to travel You have been more than a kind God You have been the God of my life You are the Father of Isaac, Abraham and Jacob You are the Father of Noah And the Father of Joseph You are the Creator of both Adam and Eve My dear LORD You are the Father of the Universe You are the Creator Some people hold truth to what they believe And therefore I hold truth to mine The the darkness of fear Have no place in my life And may there be joy in all that I do In the name of the LORD Thank you JESUS The Prince of peace That you will blow a fresh wind in my life For you are a merciful God A gracious GOD And a loving GOD Thank you FATHER In Jesus Christ name I pray AMEN Evangelist Amanda Matthews is a Minister of the Written Word

Remembering My First Love

It has been a long time since I have written anything.  Being weighed down by distractions had me forget about my first love.  In the beginning God said "I place the barren woman in her home as a mother of children.". That is what he done for me.  I am another of four, and I have had the pleasure of watching them grow up.  Parenting adult ate very different, and the the lesson learned ate more in depth.  As mother's we transition from nursery rhymes to deep talks. For a moment I have found myself a little lost.  As the children have gotten older I can let go a little, and have more time to myself.  I have no more diapers days, and have a little extra time to breathe.  I'm still navigating the teen years for my youngest daughter, and we are managing her final year of high school. Okay, letts go back a minute to me forgetting my first love.  Writing is my love, and I haven't done it in a long time.  I kinda put it away for a while.    Moe I have a desire to write ag
