Ancestors provide bridges if we follow their path

As I continue to usher in the year of 2012, I contemplate about the people that have lived, loved, and learned the lessons of life.  The people that have known the versatility of dissapointments, and rewards.  Many of our ancestors have paved the roads of gold, and others have left their marks for us to see.  Yet their voices are still drifting in the wind whispering a soft breeze of wisdom in our ears.

The bridges that have been built, the roads that have been traveled, and the trails that have been made represent the pavement of a people who once inhabited the earth.  Though the bridges have been burned, and the roads were long, they left us with a pot of gold.

WE are the people that will lift every voice to sing the praises of the Lord.  He is the King of kings, and the Lord of lords.  Jesus Christ gave his life for us to live an abundant life.  "For God so loved the world that he gave His only begotten son that whosoever believeth shall not perish but have everlasting life" (John 3:16)

Children are the most precious assets of our future.  The innocent glow in their eyes can become dim if we do not encourage and help them along the way.  There is a chance that they will live, love, and learn the lessons of life.  Bridges will continue to be built, roads will continue to be traveled, and the contemplation of life will continue.  Many leaders and heroes will emerge from this generation.  There is a treasure of opportunity that is waiting to be explored.

When we look back on all the things that has taken place in this life; our mothers and fathers of the past paved the way.  I thank God for all of our lives.  May this year continue to bring great blessings.  Until next time may the Lord bless you with peace and prosperity.
