 Sometimes where you are deeply rooted in Christ we have to go out on a limb of faith.  I mean sometimes we can get complacent in our faith, and want God to do something for nothing.  For instance when God provides food, or provisions he is giving us our daily bread.  We should be thankful for food especially in this economy, and time.  It should be easy to shout hallelujah on the good days, and yes the not so good days.  It says that everything works for our good so those not so good moments are shaping us for something.  In my case it's teaching me trust and patience.  I have to learn to wait on God, while trusting the process.   I think that trust, and faith goes hand in hand.  We trust God to heal us when we are sick.  We have faith in God to provide knowledge, and skilled people to assist us.  We trust the Lord to help us in a time of need, and we have faith to be led by the Spirit.  The race that we are running ...

 I was looking in the mirror at myself, and realized the beauty I possess.  I promise you this was not intended to be a vain statement, nor is it a rant about looks.  This is about a need for respect.  The priority of self.  The importance of loving your own reflection, and not comparing yourself to everyone else.  You are a jewel in God's eyes.  I think it's disrespectful to put yourself down, and compare yourself to the girl next door, or the woman standing next to you.  She doesn't have your qualifications, because she has her own.  No two individual are alike.  Even twins have their own set of DNA.  You are Unique!  Praise God he has designed us in a way that sets us apart from each other.  The respect you give yourself is the respect that we can command from other people. I don't want my walk with God to be in vain.  So I have been asking him to change my attitude.  I see people walking around with ungodly attitudes that have made me question how other people may see me.  Okay if we are representatives of God do  we represent him directly?  God does not complain,yet as humans most of us will find fault in every little thing.  Even when circumstances don't affect us in any way we go take up the beds of other people, and decide to walk out problems that God had not given us to solve.  We are not super heroes.  God does not place on us more than we can bear. Some days will present challenges.  I wish I could say that life was picture perfect.  With each challenge that comes.  We have to put on the whole armour of God that makes us feel like super heroes.  God's love does that.  It makes us confident.  His Word fortifies us.  It gives us that supernatural feelings of support. ...

 Today is a self care day.  A day to set back, and take care of your inner person.  Internally we are being renewed day by day.  While, the outer man is perishing we are getting better on the inside.  It says in the WORD that we should be transformed by the renewing of our mind, while the world says that we should be turned on by things that do not help our growth.   The mind needs stimulation, and knowledgeable to expand the depths of human understanding.  Self care is a way to expand a deeper understanding of self.  I have a daily routine that includes a consistent regimen of self care.  This regimen has been design to happen regardless of what is going on.  Taking care of me has a guarantee that I can do what called has called me to do, and it sho es a source of self love that every individual needs for himself/herself.   My routine has become a part of my day.  Tomorrow on the blog I will talk about my routine, an...

 I woke up in the early light.  I was sitting in my room, and a thought came to my mind.  When you are a priority in an individual s life he/she will fight for you.  If the person truthful cares they will move heaven, and earth to see you happy. The best way to tell if someone really loves you is to have a situation that requires care.  If that person can watch you struggle it is possible that he/she doesn't love you.  No one should go days without hearing your voice.  In fact I have to hear from my love multiple times even if it means sending a quick text.  I call it constant contact.  I want an individual to know I will always have your back, and letting you know I'm here for you will never be an issue. I know sometimes a job, plans, appointment, and life in general can make us crazy busy, but we must make time for the people we love.  Yes, that means finding time to pray.  If we love God he should be included in our lives.  ...

 Today I was in the kitchen redid overing my live for cooking.  Today I played around with the dumpling.  Yes, this Southern Belle can cook.  Today, I have nomade dumplings fory beans and it was delicious.  I had spicy beans, and rice, and nothing was left. The children are all grown up, but I still love the kitchen.  Every Wednesday on the blog I will select a recipe to cook.  I will feature easy recipes that is easy on the wallet, but is rich in taste.   I know cooking, children, and home making.  It's going to be a real treat bringing good food ideas your way    Until next time may God bless you with peace and prosperity.
